Mirror Lake Inn

One of my favorite hotels in one of the most beautiful settings! We planned a family reunion for 50+ people of all ages (infant to senior), from all over the country and the Mirror Lake Inn team provided an unforgettable and seamless weekend. Stephanie Lange worked tirelessly for months in advance to make sure that everyone was perfect. She helped with arrival, dining, room reservations, activities, etc. We couldn't have asked for better service. Highly recommend Stephanie and the Mirror Lake Inn for any vacation or special event planning needs!!!

The Mirror Lake Inn was amazing between Christmas and New Year's. The inn was well decorated for the holidays and was very cozy. My children (15 and 13) looked forward to the cookies and hot chocolate available every day and enjoyed playing games available in the game room. We sat downstairs as a family every evening playing games and enjoying each other's company. We have two teenage girls, and at home, they are normally in their rooms, but at Mirror Inn we hung out together in the game room/common areas. The inn was crowded, but there was always a place to find a seat. We also loved the Lounge for food and drinks. The teenage girls especially liked the Smash burger. Celebrated my 60th Birthday in The View restaurant in February 2026 and our dinner for 6 exceeded our expectations!!! We have stayed at the Inn for many years and enjoyed the spa, pool and fun ADK rooms with such great atmosphere. Thank you for making my 60th memorable!!!

Very nice hotel, very Adirondack style (may seem dated a bit but suits the local). We had a room in the Mountain View building overlooking the lake, good privacy. Nice little sitting area. Good water pressure and nice hot water! Breakfast buffet on weekend was a bit of a zoo (try and avoid between 830-930), much more calm ala cart on weekdays. Had dinner at the View Restaurant, which was nice if a bit expensive but I think good for area. Staff very courteous and helpful. The library on the main floor very comfortable with nice fireplace. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Lake Placid

We had a wonderful stay at the Mirror Lake Inn. The service was excellent from start to finish—every staff member was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Our room was cozy, clean, and incredibly comfortable, creating the perfect spot to relax after a long day. And the views… absolutely outstanding. Waking up to the lake and mountains felt magical.
