If you’re in the Lake Placid area this is a must stop. Even if you’re not up for riding in a Bob sled it’s still worth it to see the track. Best is to time your visit for a race day. It’s an amazing experience. The speed and thrill of seeing the sleds race down the mountain is incredible. Also, you really feel the Olympic history vibe here. It’s authentic.

First time up here in the area check out all the sites. It was cool that there was an international luge competition. It was a little confusing, cause the power went out due to some weather issues, but to see the athletes come down at 77 miles an hour it was really an experience. I won’t forget it was amazing.

Amazing hands-on Olympic experience! We watched athletes from around the world, train on bobsled or wall climb from inside the facility. Lots of trails and activities for skiers, etc.

This is a must do stop if you are interested in these Olympic winter sports. We did the guided tour that lasted about 45-50 minutes. We got to see up close bobsled and Skeletons whiz by on the track at speeds of 85mph. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and encouraged us to ask lots of questions. I learned so much and it got me so excited to watch these sports in the upcoming Olympics! There are also opportunities to try out some of the sports if you are a thrill seeker!

Very good tour of the sliding tracks. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic to answer any questions we had. Got to see some kids practicing on the track. Definitely worth a visit if in Lake Placid. Next time I would rent cross country skis and do the trails they have there. They even have a biathlon experience you can do. Pretty site and nice lodge to warm up in. There is food there but we didn't get any.
