Vince's Motel

Were I to call this place a dump would be insulting to dumps. The room, from the floors to the ceiling, was filth. The two armchairs were stained, thread bare, and torn. Found insect droppings in all of the drawers. Nails sticking out from the wall. Electrical outlets filthy. The walls needed cleaning and paint. No place to hang up clothes, no rod, no closet. No screens on windows. No battery in smoke detector (only know this because the battery door was left open). Room was labeled "no smoking" but smelled like the bottom of an ash tray. Found debris and dirt on the floor. The door was covered in smudges. Trash cans outside were over-flowing. Trash all over the grounds. Were it not for the clean sheets, I would not have stayed the one night. But it was so horrid I could only stay one nigh

Sometimes my schedule doesn’t compliment my housemates social demands. So when I learn some house guests are coming who aren’t my favorite people it’s nice to have a go-to motel that doesn’t break the bank. Vince’s Motel fits that need perfectly. There’s always been a vacancy when I’ve needed a room. The employees are exceptionally polite and very accommodating, which has become a rarity in Sacramento. The deposit is the lowest in town, perhaps the region and returned on check out. They welcome dogs as long as they are well behaved and you clean up after them. The other guests vary, from colorful characters to somewhat scary, but I’ve never had any issues. There’s plenty of parking close to your room. A popular pizza place is next door and other food and fuel options are close by. T

Ankush is the front desk guy that helped me. Super personable, real friendly. Helpful nature, very knowledgeable of the area. Great guy to enjoy a cup of coffee with. The shower wasn't all that clean. And the hot water pressure is lacking. The bed was comfortable for me at least. Lots of space. I would stay here again.

It's not the best place to go if they were nicer to their containers and treated them like customers instead of patents they would have my service more often

This motel is absolutely disgusting. One of the buildings has fire damage and according to the owners it was from an electrical fire. When arriving at night other buildings outdoor lights were flickering while the wood under the roofs had holes in it. When I walked in to the counter to check in some younger women were checking in for a night of work at this motel. When I got to my room there were stains everywhere..... On the floor, on the ceiling, in the bathroom, and on the bed. The corner where the fridge was has mold growing. The chair to sit on in the room had holes in it. Back to the stains on the bed. The top comforter looked like it used to be red but was now a deep brownish red from lack of cleaning. The sheets underneath were no better with hair from the previous tenant still
