The Fort Sutter Hotel Sacramento, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

I had the pleasure of staying at the Fort Sutter Hotel for a long weekend. Everything was amazing! The front desk staff (shout out to Nina!) was attentive and very willing to help with anything needed. I ALMOST lost my engagement ring and the gentleman at the front desk was empathetic, humorous, and action oriented. I had dinner and drinks at the downstairs bar and the staff there were equally as attentive and friendly. Our room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable! It’s also in a good location to walk to grab something to eat outside of the hotel as well. Overall an amazing experience and we will definitely be back!

My wife and I have been coming to Sacramento for a music educators conference every year for several years now. We always stay at the Fort Sutter hotel because we thoroughly enjoy the property, and Cafe Bernardo which is connected through the lobby. The staff is always friendly and helpful, but we met the very best night front desk person, Nina, on this particular trip. Nina always made sure to welcome us as we came in, or to wish us well on our way out. She checked to make sure we had everything we needed, and always greeted us with a warm smile. Her gestures were small, but they made a huge impact on our stay. Sometimes the small gestures are the most important, especially since many people do not practice them anymore. I'm a avid business travelor. I'm in Sacramento several times a month. I often stay at The Fort Sutter Hotel. Each time, my stay has been exemplary. Notable accolades to Nina who works the front desk along with Walter and Leo in housekeeping. My rooms have been extremelly clean along with occasional room refreshes during my stay. Excellent customer service on every level and exceptional experiences are the norm for this hotel. Thank you to the team!

Excellent location for our midtown stay. Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants around within a 10 minute walk. Extremely comfortable bed (strong, firm mattress and great pillows!). We parked nearby on the street, otherwise there’s a nearby garage that’s 24 hours for $18 flat rate

We had a great stay at the Fort Sutter Hotel. The rooms were clean, quiet, nicely air-conditioned, and the beds were comfortable. The only minor downside would be the bath products- they had some pretty unusual and strong scents that may be off-putting (for example, rum-scented soap, and cilantro shampoo, if I recall?). So maybe bring your own products if this is something that matters to you. Otherwise, the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, and did a wonderful job of honoring my request for connecting rooms on a specific floor. Breakfast was great with a variety of options, and the late-night bar snacks were very good too. The location is very walkable. Of note, we did not park at the hotel so we can't comment on the options available.
