Stayed here on a weekend and loved it!!! The staff at the front desk were super nice amd efficient. They knew how to answer all my questions. The valet service boys were funny and charming. Of course parking isn't free but it was worth the cost to know our car was safe and the valet service made us feel like stars. Everyone who worked their was so friendly and so definitely recommend this if you want a great hotel overlooks the Sacramento River and it is lovely. Our hotel room had a big bathtub and their was a refrigerator in the room so we were able to save food from Scott's Seafood restaurant there. We also went to the Spa and got full body massages. I felt like a queen. We thanked the manager who was quite a gentleman. I think his name was Ryan. Anyway it was a five star place and you
We were lucky to find this hotel. It is a gem. We were on our way to Tahoe and learned I-80 was closed due to spin outs ( it was the holidays with many driving in snow that don’t do so regularly) loved the hospitality of the staff it was noticeable, as was the upkeep of the hotel. We were able to use the hot tub and eat at Scott’s seafood onsite. We appreciated the environment as a well appointed stop for travel, since my first stay I have booked again and had another night here. It is great to leave the Bay Area and stay here the first night on multi day trips to Tahoe; it splits up the drive time and allows for a much shorter time over the summits ( Donner or Echo). I have done similar stays in Sacramento and Auburn but found this hotel stands out for environment, service, convenie
We had a wonderful experience at the Westin Sacramento from the moment we arrived. The gentlemen at the front quickly greeted us and helped me with our luggage so I could chase the kiddos and get them inside. We were then greeted with a smiling face at the front desk. She was able to even get us checked in an hour early. Our room was a nice size, very clean & had a great view of the river. We spent quite a bit of time at the pool, which could use a bit of an update, but again very clean and well maintained like the entirety of the property. That night we tried the seafood restaurant and thought the food was excellent for the price. Our server was also great with the kids. Great experience all around!
Amazing stay....everything about the Westin Sacramento was great. The rear rooms have beautiful river views of the Sacramento River, which made the stay super relaxing. The large soaking tubs were a major plus, and the outdoor fireplace at the pool lounge was such a nice touch. Having the spa on the first floor and Scott’s Seafood right across the courtyard made everything super convenient, and being right on the river really tops it off. Peaceful, scenic, and a great vibe overall. Huge shout-out to the manager.... I watched her train staff overnight and still stay through the day shift, all while keeping a positive, welcoming attitude. That kind of dedication really shows in the service‼️✨️
I really liked this hotel, but ultimately left feeling disappointed. There were several things I appreciated. The tall ceilings and quiet rooms—thanks to excellent insulation—made the stay very comfortable. I also liked the different water options available near the front desk, especially since the bottled water in the rooms cost $10 each. The music in the pool area created a great atmosphere, and the jacuzzi was a nice size and very enjoyable. However, the main issue was the mandatory valet fee—even when not using valet service. This makes no sense and feels unreasonable. If arriving by Uber or not bringing a car, there is no justification for being charged valet. The website does not clearly state that valet is mandatory, and there was no prior notice when booking. At check-in, staff s
