Residence Inn by Marriott Sacramento Downtown at Capitol Park

Very nice place to stay. Room was very nice and comfortable. Had to request a TV remote. It was brought very quick. There was a problem with my reservation at check in. Staff was very nice and very helpful ingesting it resolved fairly quickly considering it was pretty late at night. I highly recommend this place.

I had booked a studio with two queen beds based on works per diem requirements. They upgraded me to a suite which was nice. I did need to work at night and I did find the room really dim. There was not enough light other than a small lamp at the desk. I had to work near the window because I was using a MiFi for a secure internet. They provide breakfast in the morning which was nice. The coffee was actually stronger than what most places would serve which isn't much improvement compared to other Marriotts I've stayed at. The breakfast. Selection is good though I'm out of breakfast person. I did get breakfast one of the mornings but mainly coffee. The first night I stayed there was it was a little noisy in the hallway but it got worse the second night and around 1:00 a.m. I actually had to

We were here for a family wedding. although we arrived earlier than check-in time a very helpful receptionist Kammie managed to get us rooms as soon as available. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and kitchen had full size fridge which was very useful for us. Both pool and gym were small but well-maintained. We had various needs during the stay and found all of the staff extremely friendly and helpful. I would here also like to mention Aramm for friendliness and efficiency. Breakfast had large variety including many healthy options and the staff managed the large crowds well.

Comfortable and well designed kitchen and suite. Friendly, professional and accommodating staff. Easy options for room service or simply just be left alone in your suite - this hotel was great for the professional on business, or someone just visiting the city on leisure or house hunting. I loved the fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, fridge-freezer, range with two electric heating area on a glass top range AND high power microwave. This felt like an apartment home and not a hotel, which was great. The bar and restaurant were also convenient and fun places. The quality of the breakfasts were really very good and hot - always. The chefs are very good here and must work really hard to keep pace with demand!! This was a nice hotel and I would stay here again and thoroughly recommend

Absolutely fantastic overnight at the Resident Inn and many thanks to Jeff at the front desk for helping us with a late check out so that we could leisurely get ready for a wedding. This was clutch and we are so grateful for this friendly and helpful service! The rooms very very nice and newly updated. My only quibble is that the cleaning solution they use is quite strong and I'm scent-sensitive so I recommend they switch to a scent-free cleaner. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and free parking included in such a central location can't be beat. We will be back!
