Kimpton Sawyer Hotel

We stayed here for a family holiday trip and couldn’t have been happier. The outdoor pool being heated in the winter was a huge bonus for the kids. Every employee we met was smiling and genuinely helpful, and the valet team was impressively swift and responsive. Housekeeping kept everything spotless throughout our stay. Highly recommend for a comfortable and family-friendly getaway.

Positive: I love the location as well as the cleanliness and chic style. Negative: After making a reservation through a part third-party, I was unable to make any sort of changes or updates.

Stayed here for work travel and it quickly became one of my top go-to hotels! The amenities are fantastic, the location is unbeatable—super walkable to everything with spotless, safe surrounding areas that make getting around a breeze. But what really sets this place apart is the outstanding service. The front desk team is incredibly professional and attentive, and special shoutout to Manager Amir—he's on another level, always going above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. As someone who travels frequently for business, I've rarely experienced a team this consistently top-notch and genuinely helpful. Highly recommended.

The front desk is exceptional. They always greet me with a smile and make me feel like family every time that I stay there. I'd like to highlight Emily as she is just so welcoming with a great attitude. My wife and I travel there for business and we always comment about how good her customer service is. I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody looking to stay in Sacramento or the Sacramento area. We will definitely be coming back.

Stayed for a night here for the Meals on Wheels California conference in March 2025. They have every bad practice you can find in the hotel industry. Resort fee, fine, everyone is doing this, AND an amenity fee. Asked the front desk, they said it's for the "free" coffee they provide in the lobby. Room was over $400 before everything and turned out to be over $500 with parking. The room had a lot of stuff the usual water and mini bar and the not so common robes, shopping bags. They also have a price list, yes, everything comes at an additional cost. The feeling that they want to squeeze every penny from you is just so blatantly there. All of this for a room that doesn't even have a tub to soak in after a long 4 hour drive. Dining options were meh but at least they have food. Location is pre
