We found your Hotel on Orbitz and the photographs were stunning. We love traditional hotels and were thrilled. We were a little disappointed that the rooms were smaller than the images, but quickly forgot about that entirely because the rooms are impeccable. The beds and bedding divine and the bathrooms gorgeous! Everything is in excellent shape and everyone was so nice and helpful. The artwork style is wonderful and adds a great touch. The valet was on time and careful and communicative, the water and coffee in the lobby also added a lot to the experience. The gym is great too and the internet easy to use and fast! What a great hotel! I loved the check in and Angelica took great care of me. She made me feel welcome and was fast and efficient. I didn't get to meet the maintenance team but my hat is off to them. They keep this 100+ year old hotel (that's what I was told when I asked) in great shape. Everything in my room was well cared for and in working order. That isn't always easy in older hotels. I didn't get to try the restaurant because it was a quick stay but breakfast looked like they were busy. Loved my stay and this would be my choice if I am back in the area.

Absolutely loved staying here! It's a short walking distance to the convention center, it's a beautiful hotel, and the restaurant The Grange is lovely to sit in in the early morning to eat the delicious food. As a Marriott Platinum member, I love how this hotel offers you two free entrees daily at their restaurant. Really good service. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and the location is in a good place.||Downsides I experience, but which would not affect me returning to this hotel: If you're a big guy like me, the toilet seat is something to consider. It's one of those old toilets with a circle seat and not an elongated seat so be ready for awkward bathroom visits. Visited December 17th. After having a delicious lunch at the Grange inside the hotel ( see my separate review with receipt at the Grange) we picked up my sister in law that was staying at the hotel. Her room had great views! Love the logistics as it is walking distance to all major events ! The lobby..although smaller than I imagined was nicely decorated. Friendly staff. There is no pool but they do have room service and valet. Nicely decorated with alot of history. Safe location ! Great wedding venue!
