My husband and I checked in around 11:15 p.m. last night. The surrounding area felt unsafe, with many people loitering and a man seemingly selling suspicious items to a guest. Upon entering our room, we were immediately hit with a strong smoke odor, despite the room being designated as non-smoking. The bathroom was infested with cockroaches of all sizes, crawling on the floor, around the toilet, and in the shower curtain. We requested a room change, but despite the staff's understanding and courteous demeanor, no rooms were available. Given the late hour, finding alternative accommodations wasn't feasible. They offered to switch our room in the morning, which we accepted. However, the next morning, there was no hot water, the water had an unpleasant smell, and the towels were stiff and un
Liked · The location can be good if you want to walk almost half an hour to get to downtown Phoenix. They have breakfast, however lame, but probably not worth risking it because the entire hotel is unsanitary.||||Disliked · Pretty much EVERYTHING! Wherever you stay, just do not stay here. We had just driven all the way from San Diego throughout the day. The check in receptionist just seemed bored to serve customers for starters and would hardly look at us (first clue!). When we got our key and got given room 121, the door wouldn't open after trying repeatedly (3 people) and we had to go back to reception (second clue!!) and the receptionist said you have to pull the door handle up (this is a standard door handle where you pull it down - really should have given up by now!!). So we tried ag
STAY AWAY COMPLETELY. Trust me. It’s not worth it. I’ve lived in the mountains of the 3rd world Philippines for years and this hotel is worse than that. The only reason I am giving 1 star instead of 0 star (if that was an option) is because the staff were kind. Other than that, this place needs to be condemned. I walked in and there was trash swept into the corner. There isn’t a trash can in the room at all. the air unit was broken (told the front and they fixed it quick. Hence 1 star). Place is stained on all the walls. The blanket smelled moldy and so I didn’t touch it. Shower curtain rod was barely hanging on. Mold in the shower. Towels were stained. Tv didn’t work cause the internet is an absolute joke and they have smart tvs. Worst experience I’ve ever had staying in a hotel. See pho
BRING A BLANKET!!! The price was incredible, but you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a romantic getaway, this isn't it. But if you are looking for a place to sleep before your 7am flight, this is great! It isn't in a great area, the rooms arent well maintained (chipping paint, scratched floors, nasty bathtub, dirty floors etc.) but the sheets were clean and the beds were comfy. The staff was also excellent, very friendly and helpful. My biggest complaint is that there were no comforters or blankets, only an extra sheet on each bed. It was very cold night.
My boyfriend and I came out to visit his parents. I had to give it a five-star review because of the promprness and putting me in one of their renovated rooms, which I was originally put in one of the rooms that were to be renovated, but had a small issue with the toilet called the office and the maintenance guy John showed up about 15 to 20 minutes later. I guess he assessed the situation left 5 minutes after that and I was moved to one of the just newly renovated rooms which oh my gosh they really need to hurry up and finish that renovation because the renovated rooms are absolutely amazing night and day difference. Anyhow thank you for the great stay .
