Holiday Inn Express & Suites Phoenix West Tolleson, an IHG Hotel

Honestly one of the best Hotels I have ever stayed in. Room was nice and clean, spacious. The shower was nice and hot, great water pressure, the mirror didn't fog up. They even had makeup removal wipes (which I loved!!!). The lady who checked me in was amazing! Will most definitely recommend! If im ever in the area again, I will most definitely book here again!

Zaniyah at the front desk is a great asset for Holiday Inn Express. She has a terrific attitude and gladly answered all of my questions I had about the hotel and the surrounding area. Her customer service skills are second to none and it was a pleasure to stay at the hotel especially when she's working. Great coffee available 24 hours a day. Rooms are clean and smell good and they actually have working laundry machines. Great experience overall. Thank you!!! 😀

I enjoyed my recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express, where the rooms were excellent with new amenities and a welcoming ambiance. The recognition of my membership status without immediate benefits was a slight downside, though I was later pleased to see points added via email. The parking area could benefit from better upkeep. However, the attentive breakfast staff made our morning delightful by ensuring we had a pleasant meal, which was much appreciated. I recommend this hotel for its comfort and service, with a few improvements that could enhance the experience further.

Room is great, staff is friendly, but... out of the 12+ Holiday Inn Express' I stay at every year, this one doesn't maintain their coffee machines, tea, cups, and lids. This is my 2nd night out of three. 1st night there were no lids at all, a few cups, and 3 Ceylon tea bags. 2nd night, BOTH coffee machines won't work because they need the grounds removed, barely any cups and lids, and one tea bag. I'm paying MUCH higher rates due to baseball spring training to stay here... the least they could do is maintain this area that the one I stayed at in Baymont, TX for less than $100/night could manage to do.

There are no major issues to report but I find the desk inconsistent in providing great service. I am here a second week for work, and when trying to check in early, I was told no rooms were available and they were short staffed for housekeeping. This may be the reason why I have an issue with housekeeping. ||One thing to note are the eco settings for the room. I don’t mind it taking a while to cool down the room, but what I really dislike is the bright light that automatically turns on in the bathroom if I get up in the middle of the night. A nightlight would be better. Should you forget to flip the switch to on (because again, even if it’s off, the light will turn on as you enter), and you’re in the shower, the light will turn off.
