Holiday Inn Express & Suites Phoenix North - Happy Valley

I normally don’t leave reviews for hotels, but since our stay was exceptional, I had to leave a review. VERY convenient location for shopping, eating, and generally getting to sights and activities in the area. But it was the courteous staff and extremely responsive service from the moment we arrived that made me want to take the time to leave a review. Every single area of this hotel is spotless. Every time our family of 6 needed extra towels or bedding, it was moments away. Incredible! Breakfast is what I’ve come to expect, and it wasn’t a disappointment. Well done, Holiday Inn Express!

Love this hotel! CLEAN! Room/bathroom, common areas, parking area. Very pleasant and professional desk staff. Location works for us, and it's nice to have a number of mid-priced restaurants nearby. A couple of blocks off I-17 so 1) traffic is not bad; 2) it's quiet. The area seems really safe. We've stayed here a number of times and had good experiences each time.

It's a decent property and most things work fine. One of the ways I typically judge detail in a room is how well the shower is cleaned. This one had a couple of random hairs but that's not entirely housekeeping's fault as the water pressure was a bit low and I had trouble washing the shower as well. No hottub, which sucks after driving ten hours. Other than those minor things, everything else was great. Location was great, the staff was reasonable, the hotel nice and new. I probably won't stay there again because of the little things but if that doesn't bother you then it's a great place to stay.

New, very clean, nice surroundings. We stayed at this hotel while my wife was receiving care at Mayo Clinic, The Mayo Clinic rate through the hotel was very reasonable and helpful. It's less congested in this area of Phoenix but lots of nearby restaurants and stores. Front office manager Jonathan Paz was especially welcoming and helpful.

Just what we needed for a homebase and very affordable! We stayed here two nights. Clean, all staff was friendly, has snacks & medicine you can buy after hours. The breakfast food was really good with lots of variety and clean. Good brightly lit parking. Pretty quiet.
