Homewood Suites by Hilton Phoenix Airport South

Nice hotel. It’s an older hotel but the rooms were impressive. Super big and comfortable. They had a nice size living space, kitchenette and large bedroom with double sink vanity. The continental breakfast was nicely stocked with good selection. Can’t say enough nice things about this hotel. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel was very clean in virtually brand new condition. I was able to take advantage of the evening reception. They had tortilla chips, tortilla soup, salad, beer, wine, and brownies. The one bedroom suite was very spacious. Wi-Fi speed is excellent. Hotel also had a very nice heated outdoor pool, fitness room with peloton bike, and airport shuttle.

Staff was very polite and professional and my room was clean. But anyone who expects a decent kitchenette should not stay here. I wasn't able to boil water on my stove. Im a hilton diamond member that stays in Homewood suites regularly and this is the first time I wasnt able to cook my dinner efficiently

I RARELY give out 1 star reviews but this situation warrants one, especially when a multi-billion dollar company like Hilton can’t make this situation right. I also want to warn anyone else who may be in this situation too. I was given a certificate for a complimentary night at a Homewood property at the standard room rate (“Be My Guest” certificate). The hotel has no “standard rate” when you go online to book, just rates like “flexible”, “semi-flex” and “non-refundable.” I figured the least expensive room/rate is probably the one I’m getting for free so I picked non-refundable. When I presented the certificate, they said because I didn’t book at the standard rate I couldn’t use my certificate. Nice place near the airport with reserve shuttle service. Shannon had great customer service. He went above and beyond to make sure we got the room we needed for the night. They were having technical difficulties when we arrived, but he took care of us. All the front desk service was very friendly, kind and helpful. Clean spacious rooms right next to food in walking distance. The courtyard is very nice. Quiet on a Saturday in Sept.
