Tru by Hilton Norfolk Airport

1st time staying here and it was comfortable and cozy. I've never seen people utilize the common areas but I enjoyed seeing the diversity of friends/couples all enjoying food, games, television, coffee, conversation etc!!! Everyone was super friendly. The rooms were clean and they give a generous amount of towels & wash cloths. Breakfast was super delicious!! They had strawberry pancakes for the month of February!!! They Also have 24hr complimentary coffee (regular & decaf) and hot chocolate!!!! I would definitely return. Room prices were reasonable. 50$ room deposit that you will get back to your card after checkout (1-3 business days depending on your bank)!!

Honest review – Good location, but noisy for light sleepers. ​I stayed here before flying home after a four-week work rotation. It’s a solid option, but there are a few things to be aware of: 1. ​Location & Transport: There is no hotel shuttle, so I used an Uber to get to the airport. The location itself is good—there are plenty of food places nearby, outlet shops a short walk away, and a nice lake you can walk around. 2.​Sleep Quality: If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. I was woken up around 05:30 by lorries delivering goods in the shared car park, and you can definitely hear planes and helicopters taking off. 3.​Pet Friendly: For those asking, yes, it is pet-friendly. They allow up to two pets, and I saw a guest with their dog in the morning. 4.​Room & Facilities: The room was

Everything looks and feels new! Great decoration and very clean rooms. Great location and great staff. Ms. Chanel was very professional, helpful, and accommodating. All the staff are friendly and seem to be happy working there. The room I stayed in had the view of the pond across the parking lot. I will stay here again.

Considering this is a Hilton, this is a very poor option. Thankfully we were only staying one night. Bedding is poor quality; the water pressure is non existent; parking is tight & all disabled spaces were taped off for repainting, but there was no action showing that this would be done anytime soon! |Check in staff very nonchalant & carried on a conversation without even acknowledging our arrival or saying that they’d be right with us.|Lobby does have a pool table, some games & seating area is good.|Just one seat in a room that can sleep 4 people is poor. Beds were uncomfortable, so no, we won’t be choosing Tru again.|Breakfast was adequate & coffee was in plentiful supply. Location is ideal just minutes from the Chesapeake Bridge Tunnel Bridge.

Positive: Location, convenience, cleanliness, quietness and great staff. Negative: The beds and pillows were not as comfortable as my husband and I would have liked. The pillows were too soft and the bed was a hit too firm.
