Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel

I recently stayed in this hotel for a work conference. I was worried about my stay reading the past reviews but was pleasantly surprised due to the amazing staff I encountered! The front desk staff was so nice and set me up for a great stay. I also want to send the biggest shoutout to Omar in the VIP lounge on the 10th floor!! He was amazing and one of the highlights of my entire stay! He always greeted everyone with a smile and a good morning for breakfast. He was so happy to be doing his job and interacting with the guests. I really enjoyed talking with him as I got ready for my day while eating my breakfast. Thank you to everyone for making my stay and conference way better than I expected!

We had an excellent time at this hotel. The rooms were fine, normal double queen. The staff was excellent. The valet guys were top notch and super helpful. Shout out to Nile, Alex, Future and TJ for being so friendly. The dining room staff was attentive and fun, special thanks to Anne Marie and Kita for taking such great care of us. The food was great and the drinks were plentiful. The ferry stop is just outside the back entrance of the hotel and it is $2 to Portsmouth, quick and fun little trip. The walking path outside is nice and there are plenty of lime scooters for rent. The staff is what makes this hotel amazing. We cannot say thank you enough to the ones mentioned above!

My wife and I stayed here this weekend, (2 days after Christmas) and I do not have enough words to explain how great an experience it was for us. The young lady at checkout started it all with a friendly and fast check in and the valet kept it up! The service here was absolutely top-notch and every employee we encountered helped make the experience better. We had a beautiful harbor view room that was neat and clean as well as comfortable. We enjoyed the evening social hour and breakfast in the Sheraton Club Lounge and those were A+ as well. Everything about this stay was wonderful and when we are in the area again we will absolutely return!

My stay with the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside has been fantastic. Omar and Reanna in the Lounge are so wonderful and friendly and the really nice people at the front desk have been so helpful and brighten my day every day, the maintenance crew have all been great- everyone I’ve had contact with has been so friendly, helpful, and customer focused. ||Today, I had a great interaction with Jermaine at the valet stand. He was very friendly and took care of my vehicle. Thank you!||The location is perfect. It’s right on the waterside and downtown. I love the area. I highly recommend staying at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside!
