Travelodge by Wyndham Lansing

Absolutely phenomenal staff. My spouse and I had fallen on hard times and needed somewhere affordable and safe for ourselves and our pet to reside. When we came in after booking and making a mistake with our booking, Mr.Brendan made sure we got the absolute best deal and re-calculated our stay to make sure it was affordable. We needed it, and it was tremendously appreciated. Tammi was at the front desk at the time and was so patient and kind, and she has since been so compassionate every time we have seen her. The rooms are pleasant and the beds are nice and soft. Our neighbors are lively and friendly, and there isn't a bunch of noise at night if you work early in the morning. Many long-term residents. Very noisy throughout the entire night, to include adjacent rooms as well as people outside yelling. Walls are very thin, could hear microwave opening and closing by the neighbor. Dog feces outside. Floor hadn't been swept. No bedspread, only a blankets on the bed. TV remote didn't work, my TV got taken over by a neighbor's YouTube at some point.

Night clerk “Tameka” (or however you spell her name, since she refused to spell it when asked to ensure I called her by the correct name), who worked on March 1, 2026, at around 1:53 a.m., was incredibly disrespectful and rude to a veteran and his wife, who made the reservation for her husband and ensured the room was put in his name so he could stay safely over an hour away from home due to poor road conditions after DoorDashing in Lansing. I booked a room for my husband at this establishment and was under the impression that everything would go smoothly because I had placed the reservation in his name. I have the confirmation email showing my husband’s name, as the reservation was made under his name. I have never had an issue at a Wyndham-owned hotel or motel. I have done this in the p

I stayed at this Travelodge for one weekend with my wife. During that stay, my wife ran into a former acquaintance who was working there as a housekeeper. Very shortly after speaking, this employee offered to sell bulk cleaning supplies along with blankets and pillows for $550 in cash. She claimed everything was new. She insisted on receiving the money upfront and told us we needed to wait until after midnight, explaining that the general manager, housekeeping supervisor, and on-call maintenance staff would not be awake or present at that time. We waited as instructed and later met her by her room on the property, where she handed over blankets and pillows. After checking out and moving into our new apartment, we discovered that every single item provided was clearly used hotel bedding.
