SpringHill Suites by Marriott Lansing

Autumn at the front desk was absolutely fantastic. She really made our stay great. The breakfast was lovely with a wide variety of options and the room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again when we are in the area.

We were greeted pleasantly on arrival and the check-in was smooth. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The king-sized bed was also comfortable. Unfortunately, the jets in the advertised hot tub were not operational. Upon questioning, the front desk clerk admitted that the jets hadn't worked at all since she has worked there (about two years), and the owners "didn't want to put money into it." So if a soak in a whirlpool is something you look forward to at a hotel (as I do), find someplace else.

3 stars overall. The service was friendly. Breakfast was good and very clean, breakfast staff was great. Room was nice and clean. Pool area was not as pictured, pool was small and not well lit. Pool water was cloudy. Hot tub was down during our stay. Pool/ hot tub brought stay down to 3 stars as that was the main reason for being at the hotel. We planned a night for my daughter and friends to swim.

Positive: Clean modern rooms. Breakfast options. Negative: We reserved a stay for the jacuzzi as one of 2 available hotels with jacuzzi in Lansing. The Jacuzzi was not working during our stay.

Very impressive! Traveling with our adult son so the suite of rooms was very nice for the 3 of us. The room was clean and laid out very well with its own sitting room and big clean bathroom. Shower took awhile to get hot, but was worth the wait. Pool had just been drained and refilled so was a bit cold for us older folks, but kids were playing in it. Hot tub was very nice (especially since website said it was out of order). Hot water was so relaxing on tired muscles and achy joints. Breakfast was very good with many selections including some gluten free which I rarely encounter. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated Autumn who checked us in and the breakfast lady. Both very sweet and helpful. Also very affordable compared to other places we've looked at. Already p
