Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Lansing West

First room they put me in had no hot water, second room they put me in the TV did not work at all. Not worth the 200$ I paid to stay here for two nights. Staff was nice when I asked to change rooms the 1st time.

Piece of refrigerator fell out, it was white plastic, but filled with black moldy material. Pillows were very thin, even using 2 pillows was too thin to support head. The mattress was very comfortable (not too soft, not too hard). Love seat was very hard. We (2 adults) stayed for 2 nights, was provided with 2 partial toilet paper rolls. The entire hotel has 1 working ice machine, which also clogged often. Had to wait 10 minutes for from desk staff to unclog it. Breakfast offerings were varied, area was very clean and organized. Front desk was often vacant, desk clerk was busy cleaning the breakfast area. Many guests stayed there while attending MSU football game, and the majority are fans of Big Ten schools. The room TV does not include the Big Ten Network.

We have never had a complaint about anything since staying with them....everyone is so nice and caring! The atmosphere is so welcoming! Definitely would recommend anyone to stay here!

Started out great, and then it turned into just another choice hotel judged by everybody for a situation they caused it. Don’t even know the truth of staff was great. At first I left and was in the hospital for a while. Returned to be told. I wasn’t allowed to stay there anymore because of an unpaid bill and when I walked back in, never got a chance to say anything about that because I was told immediately I was not allowed to stay and no reason why but I had stopped earlier that day and I’d had about $2500 cash in my pocket to cover $100 hotel bill so I don’t recommend that place at all if you think you might have a problem in life cause like always choice hotels they’ll definitely leave you stranded and screwed over just my pay just my opinion.
