Courtyard by Marriott Lansing Downtown

Stayed here for one night for a training nearby. The area is quite walkable with nearby restaurants. About a quarter mile away is the Riverwalk which was cool. We walked the Riverwalk up to Old Town. In total it was about 1.3 miles one way. |Front desk staff are very friendly. I got a voucher for free coffee in the morning which was nice before a long training day. |Room was not huge but very comfortable and well appointed. I really liked the shower which had great water pressure and this little nook to keep the towel where it wouldn't get wet but you don't have to open the door to get it and get cold. I loved that! |Closet with a safe and full length mirror, plus another mirror which I appreciate because some hotels lack a full length mirror. |Comfortable bed and a nice couch for hanging

The Courtyard by Marriott Lansing Downtown is my go to hotel when I'm in Lansing for work. It still has that "new hotel" feel. The rooms are impeccably clean and modern, and the fitness center has a great selection of new equipment. What truly elevates my stay, though, is the friendly service. I always look forward to grabbing my morning coffee at the cafe and chatting with Sheneva. Her warm personality and positive energy are a great way to start the day!

Rooms were clean and updated. Love the sound machine - helps drown out noise of others and the train that runs right next to the hotel. TV has option to login to your accounts to stream shows. The gym was clean and nice - I would suggest cleaning solution available for guests to clean equipment after they use it, I felt bad returning weights without cleaning them. We rented the meeting room for a small conference. Good experience with this (note: microphone rental is not included in AV rental but they were able to get me their third party vendor in same day but it was still very quiet - small room though so we were able to project our voice). Manager Brandon (I think?) was helpful, Marcel was super accommodating and engaged in a nice, meaningful conversation, Gabriela (I think?) was so kin

Comfortable/quiet place to stay, and clean modern inside. The part that stood out the most was the thing I least expected though. I never eat at hotel bars, but Alex changed that the first night I came in. My flight got delayed so I ate in because I was exhausted and didn’t want to travel to a restaurant. His food was so good I stayed in every night, though. Outstanding quality — far above expectations and Alex is going to have me coming back to stay just because I know the convenience of good food is a few steps away.
