Travel Inn

This hotel is under new management and they are renovating and cleaning the rooms and outside common areas up. While no the location is not great, it is a gated hotel with 24 hour security. I stayed there for 3 weeks and the guys who work the front desk are very nice and friendly. My room was clean and so were the sheets. The carpet needs a good deep shampoo or be replaced but that was the only thing that I noticed that was not clean. While I was there they had new doors and key card locks installed in all the rooms. I really didn’t see any homeless or drug addicts inside the gates, I felt perfectly safe. Cons: carpet needs to be replaced or deep cleaned. Located in a very rough neighborhood. Booked through expeida Upon arriving the Worker there notified me that they were "overbooked" and that if i wanted a room is would be 3 times what the Boking price on expedia said This Staff is verry rude save you're money and time and and don't book! Verry disappointing!!

WARNING! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! DON'T STAY HERE! They charged me $311 for two nights (early Saturday Morning after midnight) and Sunday as well, but they told me I had to check out after only one night because they said despite me booking a room and checking into it at 3:00 am Saturday morning, they charged me for Friday and Saturday, and not Sunday, which makes no sense, seeing as how I came on a Saturday morning not a Friday. ||||On top of that, they tried to keep my deposit and when they did give it back, I only got $50 of it back, not the whole amount. This motel is a SCAM. They aso claim to have free WIFI, which is a LIE! Also there is no way to watch TV, as they have no television channels at all. A complete dump. Traveling and called 20 minutes ahead of arrival as it was getting late in the evening to confirm that someone would check me in. 20 minutes later I show up and the guy is sleeping in the office and takes 15 or 20 minutes to come out. The next morning I’ve got an abrupt knock at my door at 10:10 AM. There’s no keyhole, guys telling me to open the door. I’m like no I don’t know who you are. I finally opened the door guy looks like it’s a police officer carrying a firearm. Without identifying himself, as I thought it was actually the police. He continued to ask me if I’m checking out.
