Travel Inn Horseheads

Upon arrival the two staff member were cussing outside the door we were sitting there waiting it.very unprofessional. The room is tiny bathroom found when u open the microwave the whole button pop out sheet had burn holes in it also balls of hair on the sheets.. eww the comforter has seen better days strings coming off it cause it has bee washed one too many times. shower curtain had a black streak right down it it was dusty I guess if u want a cheap place to stay this would be your place I was disappointed that are anniversary was in a place like this but what can u do when u already booked it in advanced ugh

Definitely no pool or a room service lol! The sheets were clean but the bed an pillows were super uncomfortable, bed cover stained. Lots of dust, bathroom was filthy, i mean toilet seat had yellow dirt underneath from previous occupants using it, bath had builded dirt from the times being used and not cleaned. Pubic hairs at the toilet seat and bath, mirror- could barely see myself. Stayed there for two nights cause it was super cheap, but i guess with a reason! Never ever make my mistake to book a hotel without checking the reviews! I was on a hurry, but still! I was the only guest at the whole hotel! THE ONLY ONE! Wonder why! Place is kinda sketchy and as a solo traveler i was not scared, but on my toes all of the time. Receptionist lady was nice, but next morning after check in walked b

This place may be older and could use updates but it is clean! The bed was pristine! Much cleaner than some airbnbs we've stayed at. A quiet place to rest. No smell and very tidy and neat

Positive: The motel is under new ownership. I’ve stayed there under the previous ownership and it was rather dumpy. However, this couple is working really hard to clean things up and replace needed toilets, etc. it is still an old motel, but nicely improving. Negative: ""

I do not usually do this but for what we paid and the way it was, was upsetting. This was last minute finding a place to stay for races but we will not stay there again. It was very late when we arrived and for it not being that we would've left. We had a room in a basement that had a moldy musty smell. Hair on the floor, sheets stained, blankets with hole, bathroom water came out rusty and tub had hairs and bug. I don't suggest staying here.
