Hampton Inn Elmira/Horseheads

Nice hotel that was recently renovated. Rooms are spacious and clean. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good but for a long stay the options got a little repetitive. Lots of parking around the hotel and plenty of grassy areas as well. Occasional rudeness from one particular front desk employee but overall fine.

Good hotel! We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting family that live in the area. The hotel had been renovated since our last visit. The hotel was clean and the room was nicely updated. The person who checked us in at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Tiffani, who worked the breakfast in the morning was great. She was working hard to keep everything replenished. Room was clean and spacious. We did have an issue with our room not being serviced at all durning the 3 nights we were there. Pool area looked nice, although we didn’t have the time to swim. Would definitely stay here again while in the area, but do recommend that the bathrooms be renovated and updated.

Positive: Pool, hot tub. Lots of space to walk dog Negative: breakfast was poor. Front desk clerk did not show any immediate concern about my complaint about quality and serving temperatures of eggs, sausage, potatoes, and oatmeal.

Was pleasantly shocked on arrival to find out they have just renovated! Dark rooms are now bright, small TVs gone and now have large ones with streaming. Staff were very friendly, and grounds are really nice. The breakfast was the let down…and to be clear Hilton free breakfast is nothing special on its beat day. This hotel, on multiple days had burnt food, and at 7:30a very little left. No attendant around…after 1/2 hour I was thankful there is a McDonalds close by. I understand a bad day, but it was every morning. Sad that a poor, free breakfast makes a nice hotel look so bad.

As Hilton Honors members, we stay here often when visiting family. I was very impressed with the renovations made in the last 9 months. The rooms are very clean, updated, and the art work depicting the history of the area is fabulous! I expressed my pleasure immediately to the front desk staff. What I wasn't happy with was the fact that we had a broken shower faucet and my husband and I had to take Cold showers for 2 days before someone was sent up! It was a broken valve in the faucet which was replaced by a very competent gentlemen who fixed it quickly and was apologetic for the disruption. I understand this room was recently renovated and probably had not been occupied yet. I did not get any kind of acknowledgement or apology from the Front Desk. When I initially brought the issue to the
