**The only reason this review gets 2 stars is because of the friendly customer service from the front desk associate, everything else was an absolute disaster** The reviews and pictures of this place are the COMPLETE opposite of what it really is. I read the reviews to any hotel prior to staying and read the ones for here under the impression that it was a decent hotel for the price being paid and that proved to be wrong quickly. When we first checked in, the gentleman at the front desk was very kind and helpful. After receiving our room keys, he informed us that we had a bottom floor room and each bottom floor room had a sliding glass door to access the parking lot with. The front desk clerk busted his butt to make things go/right, but he was a one armed wall paper hanger dealing with a lot of customers and computer glitches that were giving him nightmares getting people checked in. The rooms were clean but the decor was old, the toilet barely flushed, the shower head was old and barely put out water, the towels were thin and small and the pillows and blankets were paper thin. Even though it was a no smoking facility it smelled like they haven't remodeled since indoor smoking was banned in NY in the 1990s. Musty, cigarette smell permeated the hallways. If you're looking for a cheap hotel for a night just to lay down, you're in the right place. Otherwise, don't expect much in the way of amenities, comfort, quietness.

We booked two rooms for one night - one for me, one for my daughter and her partner. Lying in the bed before going to sleep, my daughter suspected a smoke detector on the ceiling had a camera in it, so they examined it at 9:30 pm - just looked closely at it, did not disable it. At 12:45, three security personnel pounded on their door, demanding to be let in. My daughter and her partner refused, yelling at them to go away. They inserted a tool under the door and forced it open, then pushed their way into the room. They never looked at the smoke detector and left. ||Do not stay at this hotel.

We had to leave due to the overwhelming smell of freshly smoked cigarettes. Our room had not been vacuumed and the sheets and walls were stained. The only positive was the friendly receptionist who was understanding and helpful.

Positive: The security guard effort to help us. Negative: With exception of the location and the security guard who gave a 100% effort to accommodate us. He showed us 4 rooms and all of them were dirty, stained towels, sheets, chairs spider webs inside the room. we choose the best one out of the 4.
