Best Western Plus Horseheads - Elmira

Fairly easy to get to off the road=almost secluded, but one can hear highway traffic from the room. Very friendly, helpful staff! Room was simple and comfortable without the weird smells that one can sometimes encounter at hotels. To avoid noise from upper rooms, I suggest requesting a fourth floor room. Breakfast consisted of both hot and cold items replenished regularly to satisfy guests. There is a pool & fitness center, plus a guest computer with printer next to the front desk.

It's a new hotel, already a plus, but the staff made it a great experience. Our room was spacious, comfortable and afforded us a great night of peace and sleep. Good linens and towels. Breakfast was beyond the norm, and I would stay here again if only for that amazing coffee machine (mocha, cappuccino, latte on demand all with decaf options). Pool and fitness rooms were beautiful (no time to enjoy this trip), and the restaurant is scheduled to be in operation in the coming year. I thought it nice there is a common area off the main lobby, separate from the breakfast room, that has high tops, comfy seating and a fireplace. What a great amenity. Convenient to highways, shopping and dining. Staff was welcoming, personable and professional. We will stay here again when we return next year.

Nice clean hotel, good room size, nice location for Elmira visit and close to many stores. Few negative things to note, 1. The rooms don’t have coffee machines, you must go down to main breakfast are even for hot water. Not sure why but even cheapest hotel have these. 2. There are no mirrors outside side washrooms. So getting ready is time consuming.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The staff was amazing along with housekeeping, They always made sure you had everything you needed. The rooms were beautiful, and my favorite was the breakfast area, Everything so fresh and delicious, And coffee, tea, and juice 24/7 We love this Hotel and we are definitely coming back real soon. Very nice room! Clean property. Great breakfast offered. Blackout curtains, cool AC. Wish they had softer sheets, but great place to stay for a road trip stop or if you want to stay near Corning!
