The Inn at Governors Club

I really wanted to like this house but the little wrong things added up overall.|First off I secured this reservation through Vrbo only to find out a few weeks before checkin that it had been sold and my reservation was “missing”. Karen made good with my reservation and the thousands of dollars I had deposited. I ended up finishing the transaction with Vrbo even though it’s not a property of theirs anymore….confusing.|Checkin was easy. I was given all the pertinent information from the contact at Governors Club. |Upon arriving to the house I noticed there was a bit of a messy curb appeal to the front entrance. It doesn't get any better than this! We rented 4 BEAUTIFUL cottages for a wedding. Our guests were very impressed by the rooms and common areas. We truly appreciated the staff’s personal attention to our needs and responsiveness to our requests. Highly recommend the Inn for your future event or house hunting trip!

We rented the 2 large houses (Blue Cottage & Sandhills) for the US Open weekend for a group of 29 of us. The houses were even better than the pictures, everyone was thrilled with the accommodations. The views of the golf course were fabulous and everyone loved having their own master bedroom. Would definitely recommend staying here.

I booked the Governor’s Inn “The Sandhills” for my team of 12 for an overnight meeting. IT WAS EXCELLENT! The meeting room table was perfect as it provided a large but intimate space for our group to engage in healthy and open discussions. After the meeting, the space upstairs was perfect for our group to cook and have a wonderful dinner. The rooms were awesome. Beds were great and having a temperature control for every room was a first. Each room was able to tailor the room temp to their liking. All in all, it was a perfect setting for our group of 12 offering a more inviting space that you just don’t get at a hotel. I booked The Inn at GC for our daughter's wedding weekend May 2022. We had a lot of friends and family come from out of town, the cottages worked out great! Family and friends loved the outside decks with the awesome views of the golf course, the walking paths, and plenty of parking just outside the front door. The bedrooms are so comfortable and each room has individual temperature control! The common area is very clean and stocked with basic amenities, coffee, fruit, milk, yogurt etc...Karen is really great to work with and easy to get in touch with if needed. We will be back!
