Syracuse Grand

Was told my babies needed to be quiet at 8:45 and told if my baby is crying I need to know to feed him by the staff. After we had to switch rooms at 8:15 cause our room was infested with ants!!! Don’t stay here if you have babies apparently they need to be perfect Angels or you will get parenting advice by staff.

Ok first off the hotels entrance is nice and clean and inviting. there was no microwave in my room I had to use the one in the lobby so I got to observe the lobby quite well. The room could’ve been cleaned better considering there was hair still scattered in the shower and when I lifted the mattress there was hair (possibly pubic) all over the box spring toward the head of the bed. The hot tub is the BEST hot tub I’ve seen in a hotel the jets are amazing. The shower had a new nozzle and the bathroom was very clean (minus the random hairs) The tub was deep (if you like baths) I needed more towels and the staff stated I had to come get them from the desk so room service is not good. This hotel is going through some stuff and maybe needs to close until it's ready to prove better service and better quality. It's still says Best Western in the building which confuses people trying to find the hotel and then there was nobody at the desk for quite some time. I wasn't exactly shocked because when I tried to call to confirm the hot tub was in order the night before I was hung up on three separate times. I even sent an email but no one replied. The next morning they said it was working which is the only reason we booked the room but when we got in the tub it was not hot and the jets stopped after a few minutes and never came back on, plus the water was green and smelled terrible. We were hesitant to book because of other reviews, but the room was clean, no smells, good location, good service. We checked in right away, nice comfy bed. It would have been a perfect stay minus all the rooms around us being filled with cheerleaders who woke up at 5am and loudly in the hallway. I wish we weren't put next to them or their parents told them to be quiet in the hall. Not the hotels fault.

Not good!! Upon arrival I walked in and asked the clerk if they had a king room. She said yes. I asked how much is it. She said $133.00. I booked it, paid, and upon entering the room discovered it was 2 queens. The telephone in the room was broken so I called from my cell. Felicia informed me that they have no king rooms available. I told her i just paid for one 5 minutes ago! She said there was nothing she could do. At this point i was tired and said fine I will stay in this room. The toilet seat was completely only partially attached and dangerous. The trim around the mirror over the sink was loose and falling off. The phone was broken, several ceiling tiles in the hall were down and water was dripping very fast into a trash can. Wires and insulation was hanging. Just best for you to f
