SureStay InnSuites Phoenix Hotel & Suites by Best Western

2 queen bed were not as big as it appeared in the photos. The room was decent enough if only you use it to sleep and get ready for the day. The breakfast offered was terrible: cereal, pastries, waffle maker and cheap yogurt machine. The property could use someone to clean up and maintain it better. I wouldn't come back.

I booked a 4 day stay. Upon arrival I found out that there was no wi-fi and no breakfast bar because the hotel is changing hands from Best Western to Choice Brand hotels. In the meantime both parties are just letting the place run down. There were no bathcloths so I had to wash with a handtowel. The bathroom sink had no stopper. There was a huge clump of black hair, like an extension, that was in the tub. My traveling companions said there was mold and mildew in their bathroom area.There was a cigarette lighter on the nightstand left by a previous guest, meaning the room hadn't been cleaned very well. The beds were terrible, they were very uncomfortable (and a good mattress is a must have), the bed was on rollers and kept moving,the blankets old, the fridge smelled terrible, the bathroom floor had pubic hair, the hanging bath towel a big black string curled up in the middle, the toilet clogged, the toilet was loose, the bathroom handle would stick, the TV would not tilt towards 2nd bed, the breakfast was awful and only had a few choice, each choice was less consuming, the yogurt tasted like cream cheese and regular yogurt, the waffle mix was frozen and taken away, the coffee was spurting out black stuff, in the light of day there was a drug baggie in rocks with white residue, broken glass beer bottles and trash. If you're looking for a bed in a room, this place has that. But If you're hoping for insulated walls, basic amenities, a door that keeps the bugs out, or staff with a spine this is NOT the place. We could hear every word of every conversation next door, missing a hair dryer and ironing board (asked and they didn't provide anything), massive amounts of sunlight around the door, and when we called the front desk to ask neighbors to be quiet at midnight - they did nothing. I would pay double to not come back

Breakfast was a disaster! I was there for two nights and on both mornings I was told that all of the machines were broken. There was regular coffee that poured from the decaf dispenser and tasted thick and harsh. There was no yogurt in the dispenser, only splatters came out, no juices - the machine was broken, no butter, no sugar, but there were rubbery waffles and something resembling oats in the bottom of the warmer - it wasn't appealing. There were a few English muffins and a thick white bread. I go to Best Western Hotels for a comfortable stay and a quick breakfast before getting on the road, this hotel failed. To be fair, the bed was comfortable and the staff tried very hard to overcome the problems. Some local youth took over the pool, but they were kicked out. The pool pump had a h
