Super 8 by Wyndham Waynesboro

Absolutely horrible. The continental breakfast is PATHETIC. Apple/Orange juice and coffee. And old 5-10+ day expired Yogurt. The apple juice machine dispenses black chunks into the drink, indicating it hasn’t been cleaned in who knows how long. My father and I stayed here for an extended stay (~3 weeks) and were treated like crap by the staff. The only person who was friendly to me during my entire stay was an older white lady who usually works evenings/nights at the front desk. I wish I knew her name. Keni, the manager (darker skin, possibly Indian) was hateful and unfriendly. She didn’t speak to me at all during our stay. I chose the super 8 in Waynesboro, Virginia because we only stayed 1 night, and it was the cheapest option. I normally stay at the Best Western + when I visit Waynesboro. The super 8 provided a decent place to stay, but I found that the breakfast wasn't as near as good as the Best Western. There was no elevator, so we had to climb 3 flights of stairs . The room was smaller, and it was noisier. If I would choose this hotel again, it would be because of a big price difference. I would prefer to stay at the Best Western + next time I visit Waynesboro.

I ride Motorcycles and have stayed at this location several times. The check in process is fast and friendly. The rooms are always clean, the beds are comfortable and the showers are nice and hot. The internet worked great. Also there are several places to eat within walking distance. I am already planning my next stay.

Super 8 is generally a decent budget hotel. The main problem is they stink of weed every night you stay there. Sometimes the stench is extremely intense. There's nothing you can do to stop the smell of weed from getting into your room. We've tried turning on the bathroom vent fan and closing the bathroom door. We've tried putting towels along the bottoms of the room door & bathroom doors. No matter what you do, the intense stench of weed penetrates into your room. Apparently people in Virginia love smoking weed inside their hotel rooms all night long. It's very annoying having to smoke it with them. Forget about complaining. The management threatens indoor smokers with steep fines. But in reality they never do a thing about it. It stinks in here so bad I gotta go outside for some oxygen.

The Night Auditor was extremely helpful. She made the check in process very smooth. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
