Super 8 by Wyndham Florence SC I-95 North / Hwy 76

My youngest sister actually stayed a night at this Super 8 since she had a dental procedure the following morning early, but I made the reservation & paid for her stay. I also spoke to the Front Desk clerk Dave Holt to ensure she eas taken care of. I like the setup online to check out, but didn’t like the hotel website is set up asking for a tip. I still left one which I hope went to the clerk since he was very & most helpful.

Stay for the night cause the weather was bad. As soon you enter the strong smell of cigarettes even tho the rooms are smoke free. Bed were stained, towels with blue spots . The bathtub was clogged could not take shower. Bathtub had a huge dent and surface was peeling. I would not recommend staying here. It my first time writing a bad review for as long as I lived.

Positive: The staff was great. He was stretching, problem solver, respectful, and patient. He was working alone and so managed to get things done in a timely manner. Negative: The girl was filthy. The sheets had stains. There was bedbugs, cockroaches, etc. we stitched rooms and still got bit

I stayed 1 night and left early in the morning. I always sleep with my own pillow. It's a very expensive pillow and I had a mint green pillowcase, which would stand out from their white pillow cases. I noticed I forgot my pillow when I got home to NY the next night. It was late so I called first thing this morning. The guy that answered the phone said he was the one that cleans the rooms and my pillow wasn't there. I was willing to not only pay for the shipping but also their inconvenience. I realize it was my fault for leaving it behind, I'm mad at myself, however his response was ridiculous. He was quick to say my pillow wasn't there. I know it was.... I wouldn't have left it anywhere else. Unreal

Do not stay here! Very bad experience! A $100 fee is added to card transactions. The only prior notification of this is taped to the window of the establishment, so there's no way for a booking agent to know this and inform you ahead of time. If you book after midnight you're locked in, so when you finally arrive and discover this extra charge you're forced to pay $100 over budget! Also, if you arrive after hours the lobby is locked and you aren't allowed to enter even just to check in. You're made to stand outside and hand things back and forth through a metal box in the wall. The glass is so dark and thick that you can't see or speak to the person you're doing business with. I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome. The room was dirty and stinky, and there was a blood stain on the sheets.
