Hyatt Place Florence / Downtown

We had a great experience at Hyatt Place Florence, South Carolina. The person who assisted us early in the morning was incredibly kind and took great care of us. The service was warm and welcoming from the start. Breakfast was included with our stay, and it was really good. We also appreciated that the hotel is pet-friendly. They welcomed our dog and treated him very well. Overall, a very pleasant stay, and we would definitely recommend it!

We were passing through town and took a chance on this hotel. Front desk service was friendly. The free breakfast in the morning was fantastic. The kitchen being ran by Kianna reflects how hard she works and provided excellent customer service. Also served as my barista, she made the end of our trip wonderful with good coffee and a big smile. Rooms were clean and the town is adorable. I recommend staying here and highly recommend having breakfast served by Kianna and her hard working crew.

While the property itself may meet basic expectations, I cannot recommend staying here based on how staff are treated. In my experience, employees are not supported when facing aggressive, abusive, or inappropriate guest behavior. Management consistently prioritizes guest complaints and online reviews over employee dignity, fairness, and safety.||||Guests with pet allergies should also be aware that rooms are not reliably designated as pet-free. You also have to pay for parking, it is not on the property and adjacent to the hotel. If you have any mobility issues I wouldn’t recommend based on the parking lot alone, as they are the bare minimum level of accessible in the building. My truck broke down and the company got me a room here for 5 nights. The place is nice, comfortable and friendly. They are more then pet friendly, all the staff like the pets coming in and they even have multiple garbage can/bag setups if one needs them to help clean up after the pups. The rooms a nice and clean. The breakfast was excellent.
