Super 8 by Wyndham Bloomington/Airport

When I walked into the hotel. I was greeted by Ms. Norma. She was very nice and kind to me in regards to basically everything I needed help with. She told me about their shuttle that is of service if trying to go anywhere. She also was diligent in giving me a wake up call about me catching the shuttle to drop me at the airport. I will definitely come back next time and very much recommend the hotel. Thanks Ms. Norma, you are the best.

I included our review from 10 months ago also since that has changed. Now if you are a diamond member you no longer have to pay a deposit which is nice. I don't understand why they have you dona pre arrival check in if you have to do it all over once you get there. The check in this time was a little bit longer processe but I believe that was because he was being trained in. He was friendly and got us checked in just fine. We stayed from January 16th to the 19th. Now here is where my biggest issue was when I noticed ants in our room once I got out of the Jacuzzi on Sunday the 18th. My husband said he saw about five in the bathroom which I never noticed. The amount of ants that came out was beyond disgusting. Checked in only to find hot and pool are not open. Was given no notice beforehand. Checked in hardwood floor was not swept or mopped everything looked like the 1960s. Condom wrapper from previous guest was still on floor. Wood furniture peeling. “King” bed was a twin at best. TV not even close to the bed. Continental breakfast that was also promised was not offered. Checked in and checked out within a span of 20 minutes. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. I know it’s super 8 but be honest about what amenities are available and do a decent job at trying to clean the place.

The room was very clean and pleasant, the wi-fi was excellent, the check-in and check-out easy, and the staff were helpful. I got a very early morning shuttle ride to the airport with no problems at all. I was pleasantly surprised that there was hot coffee in the lobby at 3 am. The only downside was that the heater was a bit noisy.

I had two consecutive stays, one between 10/17 -10/18 and the other 10/18-10/19. The first one was reserved using my rewards points and the second one was paid for. in making the reservations, I discovered that some of the rooms are not able to be paid for via Wyndham Rewards, so the first one was a normal 1-bed queen size. The second night I actually paid for was a king size suite with hot tub. Both reservations were made online on 9/20. When I checked out on 10/18 after the first night, someone, not sure who, made the decision without any consent or notice to me that I was going to keep the same queen sized room and removed my reservation for the king size suite. They at least gave me a regular king size bed for a room after I brought it to their attention, but gone was the suite and hot
