Staybridge Suites Canton by IHG

Stayed here this past weekend as our family so often does when we come to town. it was evident that this once great hotel, has gone downhill. Our first room smelled strongly of urine. We were switched to a different room. It smelled better, but as time progressed, the same smell began to surface in the bathroom. The shower curtain stunk and the baseboards and area around the tub were very caked up with dirt and debris. The room just didn't give a confident clean feel. The breakfast food was not good.

Stayed at the Staybridge Suites in Canton, Ohio and accidentally felt like I moved in.|The room had a full kitchen, a couch, and enough space that I briefly considered forwarding my mail here. Everything was clean, quiet, and suspiciously comfortable. The bed was excellent, the pillows didn’t give up on me, and I slept like someone with zero responsibilities.|Breakfast was actually good (not just “hotel good”), the staff was genuinely friendly, and the whole place felt calm — like it was designed for people who hate chaos and love sleep.|Perfect for extended stays… or short stays that turn into “maybe I’ll just stay one more night.” Would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed here a few times & love the room everytime. We live in summit county but like to get away every few weeks & Staybridge Suites Canton is our favorite. The kids had double beds in a room. We had a kitchen, living room & our room with a king size bed. The breakfast is amazing waffle maker, omlettes, meat, yogurt & cottage cheese bar as well as Juices, coffee & tea. It's all delicious hot & ready. Our kids favorite is the heated pool & our is the spa aka whirlpool. Definitely recommend staying here when your in the Canton area.

Convenient location on main road right off freeway. Facility and furnishings are in good condition. Rooms are spacious. The small kitchens are handy. Breakfast is good with options. But there is road noise, some noise comes through floors and walls. We had to figure out ways to quiet tables that were vibrating from equipment and used sofa cushions to block light coming around the drapes and under the door.

The staff is fantastic and friendly and took the time to get to know our names. They went over and above our expectations and were very accommodating for our pets. Breakfast daily is good, main dish varies from day to day, and goes above just the basics. We used the hot tub and pool area which was comforting after a long day. An additional benefit is that they offer free washers and dryers. We were staying as part of an extended stay but would highly recommend even for a short stay.
