Comfort Inn - Hall of Fame

We have stayed here before. The rooms are always clean but dated. That isn't an issue for me. Everything works and the towels are pretty nice for a hotel at this price point. It's close to lots of dining and shopping. Parking is plentiful. Front desk staff are friendly. Though the day we were leaving housekeeping spotted my husband carrying some of our bags to the car and, assuming we had checked out, knocked at the door while I was dressing. At first I thought he was returning for something but thought to call out before opening the door. At least they knocked. Breakfast was less than last year but I understand the stress of risking costs (our group room rate was the same or nearly that we had previously paid.) Again not sure huge issue for me. Choose this place if it meets your needs.

hold your blankets up the the light and it looks absolutely disgusting. asked for the to be changed immediately didn’t come for about 3 more hours and after i came back the blankets are still disgusting. the hallways and rooms smell like must and sweat. it’s honestly just gross

Room was 184 dollars since it was 'the last room', it smelled horrible when we entered. Had to open window to air out. Had a reservation at raddisson across street, another choice hotel, and they sold the room out from under me i had booked online. So when we got there we had no room. Had to go across street to comfort inn and got charged almost double the room rate. Then the shower had hair in it on the shampoo that hangs on wall. Small curls. Gross!

Door lock on my room did not work, went to front desk and complained. Initially, thought it just did not program correctly. He said the battery on door lock almost die ( sounded like he already knew this but was not going to fix) and I would have to push card in and out quickly while pulling banging on door until it opened. On average probably took 5-10 minute to just get in my room each time I left. Twice I went to front desk because even after 10 minutes I could not get door open. My key card would not open exterior door near my room. Again, asked front desk about it because it was a pain to walk around whole building. His comment too bad, he would tell someone about it. " exercise room" was one broken treadmill. Treadmill worked for a few minutes and screen started flashing

One of the rooms had other peoples left overs in frig. Cleaning rags were left in room. The towels were terrible. We did get some different ones they were a little better. U also need new mattresses/pillows. Time to do some updates. Went down to get toast and milk. Milk was so sour made me sick. By the look of the container it had not been washed for a while. So they never check to see if it was still good before they put it out. I could smell how sour it was. Didn’t go back down the next day. We were compensated 25% off of one of the rooms. Rooms/bathroom were clean give them a 8, beds were made nicely. TV was nice. Won’t stay there again if I go back in the area.
