Sleep Inn Lake Wright - Norfolk Airport

I checked in on January 21st to January 25th 2026. I paid 1,480.48 through Priceline as bundle package. Airline, hotel, and rental plus we paid for a trip protection. My husband and I were in town to bury my mother. However, the airlines canceled our flight from Saturday to Monday the 26th. 2026. When I called the Priceline and trip protection I was told that my room was non refundable and to talk to the representative or manager at the Sleep Inn Lake Wright and explain to them that you mother passed and that your flight was canceled due to the weather and asked for another night in the same room. The hotel wanted to charge me an additional 100.00 dollars plus and new security fee. So on January 24th my husband and I checked out and I asked for a receipt and they refused to give me one bec

The staff was nice. The rooms were pleasant and clean and the breakfast was great! But…the airport shuttle only goes until 9pm, which. Is rather early for a shuttle service to stop running. My biggest issue was no hot water! I let that shower run for 10 minutes and it never got warm enough for me to step in.

Happy new year 2026.. its jan 7th. Yaaay.. Too bad this hotel has an Indian looking girl at the front desk whom is very unprofessional.. stank attitude and very bad demeanor and energy.. and I hate businesses that have these kinds of people at the front desk dealing with new clients. This girl is flippant and needs to be probably in house keeping cleaning rooms or something instead of at the front desk on the cell phone or speaking to customers in a flippant.. discourteous.. and funky persona.. But the room is Nice 🤣✌🏾

Checking in on trip to air show in VA beach and staying at location for low cost options so far first things it seems fine even though saw bad reviews but room is nice clean King size bed small freg and microwave and hairdryer and AC plus coffee machine and ironing board and dresser. Plus cable TV with glass door shower Plus haven't tried pool or breakfast yet or lobby gift shop or business off. Only issue so far is no clock radio to use for wakeup and time

The check in process was effortless. The room it self was small, but clean. The shower floor was extremely slippery. Had to put a hand towel down to stay safe. Another draw back was that the room had a connector door. Those type room should be given up on request. The breakfast was good and hot.
