Sheraton Suites Fort Lauderdale West

Positive: Location. Lots of restaurants around that are across the street from the hotel. Negative: Housekeeping was inadequate. Beds not made properly on the days we were there. Housekeeping was done way in the afternoon. Too late. Spent most of the day looking at unmade beds. Dirty disposable coffee cups were left out after the service as well.

This is our third year returning to this same location, and without a doubt, she is the reason we keep coming back. Our family spent an overnight at this Sheraton on Dec 22nd. The hotel is well laid out and is located in a great area with a mall, shopping and great restaurants within walking distance. Check-in was easy and we totally enjoyed paying a little extra access the lounge. Since our kids are a little older, we stayed in a larger suite, enjoyed the kitchenette and being able to slide the doors closed between the beds and the living room. The washroom was also very large with two sinks and two separate doors to access the bathroom. It was nice that the toilet and shower/bath were separated with a door of their own. I have been staying at this hotel for years, dating back to when it was the Sheraton Plantation, and now as the Sheraton Fort Lauderdale West. Wendy at the front desk was outstanding and incredibly helpful in extending my stay.||As a Titanium Elite member who travels at least 90 nights a year for business, it truly means something when a hotel feels like home. That is exactly the feeling I get every time I stay here. There is a consistency, comfort, and genuine hospitality that keeps me coming back.||It is Paramount for me to feel welcomed when I am on the road this much, and this property continues to deliver that experience. Honestly our favorite hotel ever! The rooms are incredibly spacious, and the bathrooms are just as impressive. Everything feels clean, fresh, and well maintained. You can tell they really uphold their standards. The breakfast selection is fantastic with so many great options, and the community bar is always a fun treat. What truly makes this hotel stand out is the people. Every staff member, from the front desk host to the housekeeping team, shows genuine care and warmth. They make you feel right at home. Everyone here is absolutely remarkable!
