Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ft. Lauderdale-Plantation by IHG

We stayed 1 night which was more than enough. The outside of the hotel was fine. We entered our room where the drapes were drawn, when I opened them, I saw that the windows were green. They were covered with mold or mildew, yuck! We examined the room and it appeared clean, however there were hairs in the bath. Also, the neighbors in the connecting room spent their evening yelling at their rambunctious children, and left trash bags in the hall which were not removed before we left the next day. Also, later I found my husband’s white socks were dark on the bottom, which I cannot confirm came from the room. On the positive side, the breakfast was good.

We had a great stay at this Holiday Inn Express from check in to check out. Super clean room and facility. Very well kept pool and outdoor sitting area. Had a great time swimming after a day of touring around Ft. Lauderdale. Very friendly housekeeping staff. Everyone has a smile and says hello. Great breakfast selections. Fresh pancakes were our favorite. Friendly dining staff. I loved the 24/7 Fresh coffee. Simone at the front desk is a pleasure to talk to. She made us feel she really cared about our stay. This stay was our second at this hotel and it was just as enjoyable as the first. We will be back same time again next year.

Nice hotel, clean, near plenty of restaurants and shopping. The area is nice, safe and clean. The room was comfortable and clean. Highways and nearby roads are awful. There seems to be traffic at all hours. Allow extra time if headed out anywhere. This hotel has a very nice assortment of food for breakfast. The buffet is clean and has staff that is attentive in keeping up with food demands. The Hotel has a nice pool and area to relax.

Booked a suite for 2 weeks and ended up having to check-out a week early due to an investigation involving a recent incident that happened on this facility where police enforcement had to be involved. I no longer felt safe to continue my stay here. I was exhausted after a long day and wanted to check-into my room only to find the entire building blocked by police cars on every corner. The police were not of any help- they said they could not disclose any details about the investigation onsite. Guests were expected to park and wait outside hotel premises and couldn’t get into the hotel until 1am in the morning which the police had left the site by then. I was very stressed and angry that no staff from the front desk answered phone calls from 5pm to 1am with attempts to get updates on what

As a customer we are always expecting a good service in a Hotel Facility. Really dissapointing to see that we arrived to hotel at 3:00pm under the impression that our room was going to be ready and we got surprised that rooms were not ready. They asked us to wait 15 mins, we left the hotel facility and went to eat something and comeback 45 mins after to get another surprise that room was not ready yet, but they continue giving rooms even to people that arrive even later than us really quick. As a Manager for a company, my customers are my priority and the customer experience that I provide them it is always going to be the best one to retain the customer doing business with us at all times. Unfortunately it seems that customers are not important for them. We paid everything in advance and
