Rodeway Inn Colonial Heights I-95

Thermostat only went up to 55, temp outside was 39! No blankets, we were cold. No washcloths or cups were provided. Mattresses were unsteady on wooden frames, I almost fell off bed several times.Front door only closed by slamming it. Refrigerator door would not stay closed so nothing we put in it stayed cold. The floors were not clean and the bathroom door was filthy. if it had not been so late and we had not prepaid we would have left!!! Very sub par hotel!!!

I book here thinking it looked like the photo but The outside looks rundown then when u get to the room u can just tell the room isn’t cleaned properly. The sofa had stains the light fixture was hanging on for dear life , the smoke detector was broken which is wild , I found a Wendy box under the nightstand . The air is very stuffy , the ppl that live or stay here is so loud . I literally didn’t step foot on the floor without my shoes same for the bed I made sure to put my towel n use my own blanket to cover the pillows . The staff was nice that’s about it

Positive: The rates Negative: There was dog poop in the parking lot outside the front office. There were dead roaches all over my room. I selected a room with a queen bed and queen sofa. I got a full bed and dingy queen sofa I refused to sit on.

While I understand that Rodeway is supposed be at the lower end of the budget hotels, no one should be asked to accept accommodations that were as poor as these were. The only redeeming quality was the night desk clerk who stayed past 11pm when the registration desk closed due to a late arrival shortly after midnight. The room was booked online and no mention of registration desk being closed was mentioned before the booking was completed. I should have known better when the clerk told me they would stay until I saw and was comfortable with the room. The room was on the second floor of the rear building facing the pool. The entire floor had rooms in various states of renovation and none of those doors were secured. I wouldn’t sleep in such a place by myself let alone with my 3 year old gra

THE MANIFESTATION OF GROTESQERIE!!!! I just stayed here over the past 4 days.... absolutely horrible. I killed 7 roaches. Floor is disgusting. Shower was not hot. There is NO Breakfast. (Not that i would even trust it). Remotes had no batteries!!!!! The bed is hard. Becareful on Friday and Sat nights. Alot of Drug users come and use! There is a room that is left open for them on the 2nd floor. I will NOT be returning. P.S. i see some 5 star reviews. They must be the staff. Those reviews are LIES!!!! This place is not clean.
