Rise Uptown Hotel

Veronica was so lovely during my check in process really helps relax after a long travel day. I highly recommend their homemade popsicles the walnut milk was the best I have ever had. The rooms are new modern quiet comfortable beds equipped with everything I needed even a steamer. Great big pool with fire pits & a cute coffee shop with delicious house made baked goods. The food by the pool is delicious & also has a jacuzzi. I own a travel agency concierge club and lean towards these type of boutique options for a fun young but elevated crowd. I highly recommend this hotel for the pool rooms service & convenient location to everything but still only 15 min from airport. Easy self parking outside your room if you’re driving as well. The bath products they use are high quality too loved it. B

It's nostalgic and aged. Rooms have vinyl record players and the lobby has many vintage records that can be borrowed and played in the room. Room was clean with a 70's vibe. Fresh towels aplenty and white cotton robes for the pool. If you're looking to experience/re-expetience the 70's, this is a good place. Be advised, no room service or pampering amenities. There's two bars, one piolsixe and one on the roof in another building. We did not experience those.

I picked Rise because it was close to GCU, and the pictures on the website looked nice. Once I got to the property, right away I felt I was going to have a pleasant experience. Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. Upon entering my room it felt large. Shower looked great, and the balcony was a nice place to sit and do homework (I'm a nurse practitioner student). The bed was very comfortable. I never went in the pool, but the hot tub was wonderful after spending the day at GCU. The food at Lylo was delicious and I thought reasonably priced (I liked the al Pastor taco). The grown-up popsicles were a fun treat as well. I would definitely stay again.

Positive: It’s unique and next to an LA fitness Negative: The water did not ever get hot in the shower. The front desk closes at 11pm and my flight was badly delayed. They had no gym which is my fault. And they didn’t clean the rooms daily apparently you had to ask for that.

We had a very relaxing stay at the Rise Uptown hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The place was very clean and in order. The room was open concept so no seperate enclosed shower area. Not totally a fan of that, but we got used to it. Otherwise the room was nice and the bed was quite comfortable. For the most part we enjoyed very quiet evenings and the fact that the pool and hot tub were 24 hr access was nice. I would say one down side for us was that we do not drink alcohol so the options were very limited as to what we could get with our $15/day drink credit. We should have looked into that a bit better to make the most of that particular perk. The grounds were lovely and would definitely stay there again.
