Yes, II got a room located at the. Residence Marriott bonvoy on military highway in Norfolk, Virginia. My check-in was for three individuals one individual who is in a wheelchair disable and myself, another individual are checking timeframe was 3 PM. It is now 355, and I do not have my check-in key. I was told that the room was being cleaned after I witnessed a group of individuals leaving as if they lived there. So I think they're trying to clean that room in order to give it to me. However, I have an event that I have to be to at 5 o'clock and the check-in time was specific to 3 PM. So that I could pray and change my clothes as of now. I will miss my next engagement because the room has not been cleaned. I have not been offered any accommodation. I've been told to sit and wait, so i'm no

I was assigned this hotel by my company and my experience was on par with the not-so-good reviews I read prior to my arrival. Long story short, the only thing I recommend about this hotel is that it would be a good candidate for demolition. ||1) Around 24 hours after I arrived, I started sneezing profusely. I requested an air filter change and the filter was covered in dust (see picture of the air intake on the door that houses the HVAC unit). |2) The transition strip has shifted where the carpet meets the laminate flooring in the kitchen area and the aluminum rail snagged my sock (pictured). From that point, I started walking around in shoes to avoid the possibility of getting a cut on my foot.|3) The temperature control handle on the shower would not remain set. This place is in bad shape. Rooms are poorly maintained, wifi is dodgy and room phones don't work at all, it took some scrambling to come up with a clean set of sheets and extra blanket for the sofa bed, and they obviously aren't paying enough staff to do any more than keep the lights on and the front desk mostly covered at night. And the breakfast was poor too. I stayed here several times in 2019 and it was perfectly fine, but but I don't know whether now the owner is running out the clock on the franchise agreement and planning to leave Marriott or what. Shame, the location is super convenient, but I wouldn't bring family back here.

Visited this place for recent jewelry event. Where do I begin? I only viewed the checkout area and the room where the event was conducted. I happened to look on the floor and the carpet needed attention as well as the ceiling vents.You could see the visible dirt along the ceiling. They should be aware of this cuz it's in plain sight.Totally unacceptable!

The staff was outstanding. Any questions we had were quickly answered. The hotel itself needs a good refresh. The in room appliances are functional but old. The TV's were great providing access to several streaming services. This made for a pleasurable experience for the kids. We did have a broken elevator for most of the duration of our stay again not the staff's fault but due to the hotel itself being dated. Also location was great providing access to multiple attractions in the area such as outlet malls, beaches, museums and more. We would definitely stay again just with the understanding that in it's current condition this is a dated hotel.
