Red Roof PLUS+ Phoenix West

The front desk clerk was efficient and friendly. The room was clean, comfortable, great water pressure in the shower. I don't know if Phoenix has very hard water or if the the soap didn't lather because the soap is poor quality. Over all a good quiet stay.

From the moment we walked through the doors, we knew this was going to be an exceptional experience. The energy was welcoming, and it was clear right away that the hotel is well maintained and cared for. After coming from another hotel with fixture issues, no clean linens, no Wi-Fi, and no cable, we were exhausted and honestly discouraged — especially traveling from out of town — so the difference was night and day. As soon as we arrived, we were met with nothing but outstanding customer service. Mariana went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of, and her manager, Isabel, was just as wonderful. We stayed at Red Roof Plus in Phoenix West on February 14 for Lady Gaga’s Mayhem tour. The room was good, the place was clean, and the staff were helpful. It’s not a five star luxury hotel, but you definitely get what you pay for and everything was perfectly fine for our stay. The real reason I’m writing this review is because of what happened after we checked out. On February 15, we were already about eight hours into our road trip when I realized I had left my phone in the room. I immediately called the hotel and the staff were very kind and helpful. They told me they had my phone and that if I sent them a box with a prepaid shipping label, they would send it back to me. The air conditioner in my room was broken I go downstairs to let front desk know. One of the guys come up to check minutes later still not working so I wait for maintenance to come. I go downstairs to tell the manager she proceeds to tell me that my roommate and I was under the cover which doesn't matter no customer service not trying accommodate just rude and nasty. While she was trying to tell me about my roommate. I stopped her by saying excuse me and she start tell me she's was having a good morning and she was just joking nothing is funny about a customer being up all night with no ac.
