Randolph House Hotel a Trademark Collection by Wyndham Liverpool/Syracuse

In fairness, the room and bathroom was clean and the staff was nice. That's where it stops. I stayed on the 6th floor and every wall looked like this (see photos). The few guests I encountered looked like they were straight out of a trailer park. And when you have those type of people staying here, they don't understand the no smoking indoors policy (plus pot). The hallway REEKED of both kinds of smoke. They advertised breakfast and at 7 a.m. it was just cereal. The shower was just barely warm. I agree with another commentator, thus is acceptable for emergency shelter in the winter. My own fault for staying here.

I booked a room as I was participating in an event being held in the ballroom. Check-in was fine and nothing out of ordinary. I booked a king room, it did not have a mini fridge or microwave which are pretty standard for hotels these days, but rather just a Keurig. My husband and I needed to shower the next day and my husband had hot water for all of two minutes! He shut the water off to see if more hot water would come up in a minute for it to be ice cold. I called the front desk to make them aware that we don't have hot water and asked if we could use another room, maybe on a lower floor if hot water is having a hard time reaching the top floor which we were on. Positive: Location was good- right off the highway and close to Syracuse University. Staff was friendly and helpful during a reservation mix up. Beds were comfortable. Negative: Room was not great- fridge and thermostat did not work, bathroom was tiny. Did not eat the breakfast- hot food did not look good

Hotel is close to Destiny mall. Clean room and but mattress needs to be updated or changed. Using rhe bed with my daughter, as she moves, the bed is moving too. only portable AC was working. swimming pool was temporarily closed. Plenty of parking spots is good thing. Bath tub draining bad.

The service was okay. We checked in and the staff was kind. The downsides start when we got to our floor. The walls were torn up and the hallways smelled of smoke within a nonsmoking area. When we got to our room, the headboard was torn up and FILTHY! The bathroom was small, and shower water took about 10 minutes to actually heat up. In the middle of the night, a guest began SCREAMING down the hall for hours with no one coming to see what was happening. Not only was this disturbing (in several ways) to others, it also doesn’t shine a good look on this hotel. This was a one and only stay here, and I can’t recommend it to others who are thinking of staying here.
