Radisson Hotel Southfield-Detroit was truly a home away from home during my wedding. My entire family stayed here for almost 20 days, and we had booked a large number of rooms, including two Double Deluxe rooms. Since this was for our wedding, we decorated the rooms with garlands and traditional Indian décor, and the hotel was very accommodating and understanding throughout. I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times because I like the location and overall comfort of the rooms, but I can’t give it a rating of 10 due to recurring problems. On more than one visit, amenities that were listed were missing from the room when I checked in, and I had to call the front desk to request them. I also experienced problems with the hot water on different days and at different times during my stays. Sometimes the water took a very long time to heat up; other times there was no hot water at all. When I tried to address the missing amenities and hot water issues with staff, they were not pleasant or accommodating, which made the situation more frustrating. He went far above and beyond his role—helping me find great local restaurants, recommending Indian places nearby, and even assisting me with the laundry machines. I was extremely satisfied with my stay and loved the room. I was given a warm welcome by the staff and they made my experience very enjoyable. Hotel was very clean and had a nice breakfast service. Definitely recommend a stay here as well as parties. Owner is very helpful with private parties and big events like birthday and weddings. Huge space and totally worth every Penny.
