Quality Inn Southfield - Detroit

The room was not prepared for our reservation at all. We had a queen size suite for 3 adults and a 12 yr old boy. There were not enough pillows, blankets or towels. There was no ice bucket or carafe for the coffee pot. The bathroom was gross. The phone was not connected and was so dirty that the handset was stuck to the base. It's one thing for it to be dated but to just be nasty is another. The employees and owners do not seem very invested in their business. The size of the room and cost is amazing and would be great for our family football trips but the entire way the establishment is run and kept is just not worth it.

This was by far one of the worst places I have ever stayed. The building needs to be shut down. From the moment we checked in, there were serious cleanliness and safety issues that were completely ignored by management. There were roaches everywhere — I personally saw at least six to ten — and ants were literally by the thousands throughout the room and building. It was beyond unsanitary and unacceptable for any establishment to allow guests to stay under those conditions. Basic necessities were never available. There were no clean towels to swap out; we were told to bring dirty ones downstairs for them to wash. Most days there was no tissue or toilet paper provided at all. There were also no clean sheets available during the stay, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel or lodgin

I stayed feb 17th-20th. And I’m highly disappointed and will never return. First off, the hotel is very very outdated. The parking lot is loaded with trash, that should’ve been my first red flag. my Bestfriend checked in and used her points. All we paid was deposit. The room had no working heat or hot water. We went to the front desk to get our room changed and THEY REFUSED. Mind you, we traveled almost 5 hours from South side Chicago. We would like a hot shower and heat when it’s freezing outside!!!! The Indian man, followed us into our room and proceeded to let the tub run for 15 minutes and then say the hot water is on. It was NOT HOT. It was lukewarm. And I don’t want a bath I want a shower. Anyway, next day we try to get our room changed and the Indian lady at the front desk is not un

This was the absolute worst hotel I have ever checked into, and immediately checked out of!! It was filthy and that's putting it lightly. The toilet from the previous guest, had dried blood running down the front of it. The room was not cleaned before I checked into it. They had hand prints on the casings of the door, the light switches had heavy sticky grim, the shower floor had pink mold growing in the corners indicative of it not being properly disinfected. The TV remote was being held together so the batteries wouldn't fall out, by tape. I will attach as many photos as possible to see their state of this room. Don't stay here!!!
