Quality Inn Waynesboro - Skyline Drive

When I got there to check-in, they tried to double charge me for my room even though I had paid in full on the app of choice. I asked for the extra a 100 bonus points instead of the snack and drink. She told me she didn't know how to do that. And that there was no choice account on my reservation yet, I booked through choice with my choice account. She then asked me for a hundred dollar deposit.After asking the gentleman in front of me how much cash he had in his pocket for his deposit which all he had was $15. After going back-and-forth of me not understanding why it was different and why she kept asking me for money? She had a gentleman. The room was nice, bed was comfy, the only issue with the room was the bathtub was clogged and drained really slow. Breakfast would have been nice if there wasn't a mother and daughter hogging up the waffle maker for more than 30 minutes and wasting waffles in the trash, ended up only having coffee for breakfast because my husband and I got tired of waiting more than 30 minutes for the waffle maker, same mother and daughter took almost all the muffins as well, along with almost all the plates and bowls. I find that really rude and inconsiderate. We we're really excited for waffles and couldn't get any.

Not an enjoyable stay. When entering the room we had dropped some water on the floor. Got a towel to wipe it up and it turned black. So doubt the floor was cleaned. The toilet seat was about ready to come off. Housekeeping, if they actually cleaned it, should’ve noticed (although it didn’t look dirty). No hot water in the shower for the three of us. Tried everything. Even let it run for about 5 minutes. Ice cold. Only thing that gave luke warm water was putting the faucet to about straight up and down, but it was still more cold than warm. Odd because the bathroom sink had hot water. Didn’t matter anyway, the drain wouldn’t drain (well it did but VERY slowly) so I didn’t leave the shower on to shower anyway. This Quality Inn has the best central location for activities in downtown Waynesboro. Park once and walk anywhere. The staff is wonderful. The accessibile queen room is large with a huge bathroom. Price is so reasonable. We'll be back.

Hotel is very old. Lighting was atrocious. Another guest came in to get his toilet cleared while I was checking in. Breakfast area is so small that guests were walking all over each other. Breakfast was bad .Eggs did not taste well. Biscuits were still cold in the middle. There was no fruit for breakfast. There was only one power outlet at each bedside and no outlet on the desk. Hotel is by a busy street. Street noise was loud until about 1:00 am.
