Quality Inn & Suites Sacramento Downtown Area

I really wish I had done more research on the location before I booked this room on Hotels.com. From Google maps, it looks like it's pleasantly located next to the Sacramento River. In reality, any access to the Sacramento River walking paths is blocked by big metal fences. But, we didn't stay long enough to do more research on the river, because we were turned off by the sad, secondhand vibe of the room and furniture, as well as our neighbor, who pretended to lose his key and entered with us from the parking lot that's in a sketchy area, not fenced in, and without any security as far as I could tell. We were in our room at 6pm, by 6:07 neighbor was yelling at his roommate. We gathered our things and were back in our car by 6:15. That's how bad this booking was for us. We don't demand fanc

The Staff was fairly efficient and transparent. I was able to make a last-minute Points reservation onsite. The rooms are refurbished in modern materials. There are some "budget" type room issues, but overall comfortable and secure stay. Well-lighted Parking with many spaces. Standard Continental breakfast. The TV had only limited channels, pre-programmed, so local weather is not easy to access. The Wi-fi was "broken" and lobby PC workstation also Out.

No eggs, no ham, no sausage, no protein, nothing hot except for the coffee. I was so disappointed that I tried one breakfast and no more.Apart from the breakfast disappointment, the rest was fine.

This was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. The floors were sticky, and the room was not fully cleaned when I arrived. I requested a non-smoking room, and although the hotel has signs stating it is 100% non-smoking, that was not my experience.I was unable to sleep due to people arguing outside. While the hotel is located in downtown Sacramento, the area did not feel very safe. I originally booked the hotel for three nights but decided to leave after I wasn’t offered a different room. I ended up checking into another hotel instead.

I have never met suck an amazing front desk worker in my life, he’s such an amazing worker im speechless not much to say but service was a 1000/10. I have never had such an experience with anyone else like Harry. He helped me with everything I needed and gave me tips like any other worker or hotel before. Recommend this place a lot.
