Quality Inn & Suites Detroit Metro Airport

Lacks quality 100% Heat / AC ducts growing mold and large clumps of dust in vents. Shower stained and disgusting. Shower temp controls backwards. (Hot is cold and cold is hot. Wall sconce shades stained and black spots that appear to be mold and other questionable stains. Possibly bodily fluids. No stopper in bathroom sink. (Don't accidentally drop jewelry in the sink. You will not see it again) peeling pain in bathroom. These are just what I found within 30 min of check-in. Im sure I will find more after posting.

Our first room had stains on the blanket on the bed blanket. There was no comforter, just a blanket with a very large stain, like 6 inches round. The couch also had stains which looked like fresh blood and there was something crusty on the couch. The front desk staff was kind enough to provide another room, an upgraded suite, which was much nicer. The hotel in general I felt had some shady cliental and several homeless people wandering around the parking lot. The parking shuttle was great and so was the staff at the hotel.

My husband and I stayed here with our toddler because it provided a park and stay option for our flight out of Detroit. I made the mistake not to read reviews!!! The rooms were very poorly kept and not clean. Our room had no window coverings. The shower head was faulty. There were stains all over the floor. The smells were the worst part of all! Our heating unit didn’t work and we froze. Room was at 61f. Just wanted to put out a warning not to stay. The low price is not worth it!

So my heat went out in my home on the night when it was negative 11. Just wanted to get some sleep where it was warm. The first hotel I went to was over booked. So when I called to get some help making another reservation, the lady I spoke to said she would call around and help me find another hotel on short notice. I told her my financial restrictions and needed to stay within a certain budget that included the incidentals in that total. She spoke to t your hotel and they told her the price but I guess they never told her about the 100 for incidentals. So when she came back I was excited and went ahead and booked it. Drove all the way there just to find out that I had to pay after I already paid. Why tell the later the wrong information in the first place. I would’ve never booked with you

We did the park, sleep and fly package before our early am flight. Our room, 244, was quite possibly the worst hotel room we’ve ever stayed in. First of all, it took a bit of detective work to find the room because NO ROOM NUMBER was posted outside the door. The digital clock was blinking with the wrong time but we were unable to set the right time/it was broken. The bathroom outlet was nonfunctional. The tub/shower faucet had a weak stream of water and we were also unable to turn the water off. The water was still running when we checked out. The tub/shower floor was dangerously slippery. I was afraid I would fall. The bathroom door had holes for hooks but no hooks. There was no hair dryer in the room. I tried to call the front desk from the room phone, but that was broken as well.
