Detroit Metro Airport Marriott

The Marriott is about 7 minutes by shuttle (with no traffic) from the Delta terminal. The shuttle to/from Delta runs every 20 minutes or thereabouts. No complaints. Clean and very comfortable room, brand new TVs, and a great staff. Rooms are older and could use a renovation but everything is kept clean and in working order. The gym is very nice. Bonvoy elites get very good recognition with complimentary nonalcoholic drinks in the lobby pantry as the concierge club lounge remains closed. Free Starbucks coffee in the lobby in the morning. The menu at the bar/restaurant is a little limited but the burgers and salads were fine. The wine selection could use some improvement. It’s on the basic to lower quality end of the spectrum. I don’t expect $90 retail bottle of wine but some decent $12-$1

I'll preface this by saying that I'm in Detroit for work 3-4 times a month, so I have stayed in multiple hotels in the DTW area. This Marriott is by far the best in my opinion, and that's solely because of the staff. Every single employee interaction makes me feel at home. A special shout out to Maria, Barbara and the the entire front desk staff for treating me like family. Shannon from the restaurant also takes great care of me at breakfast :) My room is always impeccably clean thanks to the wonderful housekeeping team and the lady in the concierge lounge is very kind and accommodating as well. We were here for two nights (not related to the airport). This is a very busy Marriott located in an area of many hotels only a mile or so from the Detroit airport. It's located next to I-94, but we had no road noise. However, it's located in a flight path, so you do get that noise. It's actually a pretty cool place if you like to see planes taking off and landing. If interested, you should ask for a room with view of the air traffic. Our stay here was just fine. Given how busy the hotel was during our stay, we were very impressed with how friendly and helpful the front desk and other staff were. Onsite self-parking (not a garage) is only $10/day.||Our King Room was fine for us. It wasn't that big, had a smaller bathroom, and was a bit dated, but it was comfortable. It had a very large TV

I recently stayed at this hotel for three days, and my experience was wonderful. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, and every service exceeded expectations. The food service was good ,the front desk staff were courteous and helpful, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job keeping everything spotless. I’d especially like to mention Supervisor Vijay and Housekeeping Department’s Barbara for their outstanding work and kind attitude. Their attention to detail made my stay even more comfortable. Overall, the services were outstanding, and I’d happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and worry-free stay.

This Mariott was amazing! We chose this place because we were able to leave our car while we traveled at a very reasonable price. We have a late flight out, so they gave us a late check out of 2pm. They also had a restaurant which was open till 11 30 pm and the food was delicious. The bar was equally good , really good pours on the gin and tonic, And captain and diet. We know where we are coming when we flying out of metro!
