La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Detroit Metro Airport

Well we only was here for a flight that we had to b at the airport at 3 am. I can say they checked us in early and was very helpful. The rooms were clean. If you need to do laundry, which we did; they only have ONE washer and ONE dryer.plus it's $2.50 for both. We had to wait forever to dry because another guest was washing and drying and put in more coins to dry so we had to wait another 45 min to dry our clothes. So I'd find another place to wash & dry or press your luck. That's why I gave a 3 star on service.

Room was clean, comfortable & rate reasonable for a two bath suite. The 24 hour shuttle service from Detroit metro airport was great since I was there to pick up my grandson from his return flight to Europe & the plane didn’t land until midnight. I was so glad I didn’t have to go out that late to pick him up myself! Hotel was quiet & there was plenty of parking

Positive: The size of the suite Negative: The pullout mattress and mattresses in general need to be changed. The glass shower leaked and the bathroom light kept flickering. Another elevator would be reasonable

Based on the reviews and photos that led me to book a room, the hotel was pretty disappointing. The property felt quite run down. As soon as I opened the door and walked into my room, I was hit by a really strong musty smell. Paint peeling throughout the room and very dusty and stained curtains. My allergies started acting up immediately. The shower door didn’t shut properly, which caused water to flood the bathroom floor. On a positive note, the bed was comfy and bedsheets and towels were clean. Breakfast was ok too. But I wouldn’t rebook in the future.

We used the Park/Sleep/Fly option and stayed here before our flight. While the logistics of the program itself were great, our stay at this hotel was ridiculous. Entering the main lobby when we arrived, we about fell over from the smell of marijuana. Once we got to our room and got settled in for the night, we were woken up just before 2am to the guests across the hall having a huge party. Loud music, yelling and screaming, door slamming, etc etc etc. More weed smoking. This went on for over 2 hours. We eventually called the front desk and the gentleman sounded like he was part of their crew and hung up on me before I could even explain why I was calling. The guests then proceeded to start arguing and yelling around 4am, putting an individual up against our door, screaming profanities. We
