Motel 6 Sacramento, CA – South Sacramento & Elk Grove

My Experience at This Location at Motle 6 has been great I always come to this one been the most comfortable motel 6 I have stay. The Staff are very Nice and friendly to communicate with. Now the only problem I did have with was the TVs some of them are messed up but beside that the rooms are clean and standard. But I Am loyal Costumer at this Motel 6 so I am Satisfied with this location.

Writing this is a public service. Easily the worst motel I’ve ever stayed at. This is a downtrodden and miserable motel in a shady area with bad vibes. Don’t stay here spend an extra $10-$15 for something decent. Even tho I booked online there was $50 deposit that I never got back. They’re were sketchy people loitering outside my room at odd hours (likely drug and alcohol related). The motel is gated. But seeing how most of the cars in the lot are junk cars this is not particularly reassuring. My car was scratched in the parking lot by some idiot. Theyre were roaches in the room. The room had a badly painted accent wall. (Lines not straight I can tell it was painted in a hurry) Additionally there were paint specs all over the floor and cobwebs on the ceiling. Clean rooms , laminate and tile floors very clean ! No carpet thank goodness! Gated entry 😉 I love that touch . The pool is closed for the winter , but it is very convenient for those seeking a pool in summer months with most other motel 6s around not having one . The staff has been very kind , and helpful. I highly recommend this one place. There is coffee in the mornings , and laundry on site . They are dog/pet friendly which is much appreciated. Now back to the coffee they actually know how to make coffee and it’s not watered down like other places. The grounds are kept up , and I was very comfortable during our stay. I would 10/10 come back again ! Definitely consider this location !

Even though my room wasn’t ready at the scheduled check-in time, I still want to give credit where it’s due. As a truck driver who has stayed at countless Motel 6 locations across the country, this one truly stands out. The area feels safe, there are several good restaurants nearby, and while the rooms are basic as you’d expect, they’re cleaner and more comfortable than most Motel 6 properties I’ve visited. This has definitely been one of my best experiences with the brand.

Positive: Staff was kind. Coffee was fresh. Check-in was simple. Towels, tub and toilet were clean. Bed was soft. Negative: Reeked of cannabis. Sheets and sink were not clean. Flooring was cracked / unsafe. Saw one cockroach. Loud neighbors. TV was low definition.
