Motel 6 Norfolk, VA - Oceanview

I am staying for 10 days to tour nearby apartments after a VA real estate settlement. Online price was not accurate, but glad to be here. The ocean view pier is across the street alongside lovely parks. The room is MUCH bigger and cleaner than the yucky inn down the street. The balcony view of the bay is beautiful. Staff is professional and organized. Heater, Microwave and fridge all work. I would give 5 stars except for noisy roadway below precluding quality balcony time. RECOMMEND.

Very dissatisfied, booked a NON SMOKING "DELUXE" room. Paid online but they still made us pay a "resort fee" when we got here that's only supposed to be paid if you pay on site. As soon as we walked through the door it smelled like cigarettes, went down to ask them for another room that hadn't been smoked in and they offered to come spray the room with air freshener, like that is going to help when you have kids.. The blinds are disgusting and stained, toilet paper roll along with a few other things in the room are broken, the crack under the door is so big you can't even keep the room cooled down. The ONLY light in the room flickers so bad, I'm luckily none of my children have epilepsy or wed be in the hospital. So disappointed and they didn't want to do anything to help accommodate me an

Staff/Owners are friendly and attentive. Rooms are clean and taken care of. This property is so close to the beach! You can look at it from the balcony! Great motel for the price!

The rooms are very clean no bugs. Great location and great view of oceanview beach. Lot's of restaurants close by. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. Great price for the location
