Motel 6 Lansing MI

This establishment advertises pet friendly yet they end up only allowing dogs. asking the manager Lupe for assistance is a waste of time, he will just tell you to go to the kiosk. when I arrived there was dog fur covering the bedding, dog droppings surround the building. there is droppings on the sidewalk into the hotel including indoors spread onto the carpet. I have watched people take their dog out and not clean up after their pet. had people upstairs with what sounded like a litter of puppies and maybe a larger dog including a concerning amount of banging and loud noise. when reported to staff they did not seem to care and the constant absurd amount of noise continued. there is also an unpleasant stentchl that lingers around the property. It was alright. Unfortunately, I didn't have a pleasant experience. The rooms were a bit smelly and the beds were uncomfortable. The bathrooms didn't have locks in them. The tub had a ring around it indicating it wasn't cleaned properly. The flush (at least for my bathroom) didn't work. Luckily, the staff was super nice and showed up first thing in the morning to fix it. Overall, we only stayed for a night so I'm not complaining that much. If you're looking for a cheap place to sleep for the night, then this place is it! You get what you pay for so don't expect anything lavish.

Everyone is always very nice. I've stayed a few times and like the people, but thinking of finding elsewhere for my boys and I to stay. Only complaint is the cleanliness of rooms. Sheets aren't always clean, floors not always vacuumed, bathrooms sometimes unclean. I don't normally say anything except when bedding isn't fresh. It's not like this every stay but most.

Location was excellent for our needs. The motel was super clean and room was updated, just a little shabby on the outside-- but who cares, when the price was so low-- we weren't sleeping outside! Beds were comfortable, room heat was piping warm and cozy-- which for NC folks, meant a lot when it was snowing outside and freezing! Desk help was very friendly and polite. Only real issue was dog walk area had not been cleaned up by patrons.

The staff was really nice. The rates were affordable and the location is ideal. They did allow us to check in early which was great, However the bathroom tub had a black ring around it and clearly no attempt had been made to clean it. The linen had several stains and the pillows inside the cases were dirty. They do allow your pets to stay which is a plus but the room smelled like wet dog before we ever let the pup out the car. After requesting new linen, rubber gloves and cleaning supplies the stay was fine. We actually stayed 2 nights and all was well. Housekeeping insisted that they move us to another room but the one they showed me was worse so I declined. They did offer to clean the bath tub and re make up the beds as well but I felt more comfortable doing it myself. **I went back and
